The long awaited Audi R8 is here and now you can drive it at Elvington, York or Teesside.
The mid-mounted, high revving V8 4.2 litre engine takes the R8 to a top speed of 187 Mph and will go from 0-62 Mph in 4.6 seconds. Inspired by the same technology that won Le Mans it has an extremely rigid but light aluminium body and 4 wheel drive ensuring that the handling is just as good.
The Audi R8 thrill begins with a briefing from an experienced racing driver and will cover the racing line as well as how to get the most of your driving time.
You will be driven around the track for 2 laps by your instructor so that you can learn the track before driving.
Next the bit you have been waiting for! You will drive the Audi R8 for 4/5 laps around the circuit.
You will receive a certificate on completion of the experience.
Availability :
Courses are available on selected weekends and weekdays from March to the end of November.

Restrictions :
You must hold a full driving licence, be less than 6'4" and weigh less than 18 1/2 stone.
Available at Teesside Autodrome (5 laps) and Elvington, (4 laps) just South of York.
You can now complete your driving experience with a hot lap driven by a professional driver. The passenger lap will take place in the car nominated that day. Cars normally used include BMW M3, Lotus Elise, Subaru Impreza Sti. The perfect finish to an amazing experience.
