This years 'must drive' car, the Audi R8 is now available to drive at Teesside Autodrome, Middlesbrough, and Elvington, York.
The Audi R8 has an extremely rigid but light aluminium body and 4 wheel drive meaning that it is perfectly suited to the race track.
Its 4.2 litre V8 engine takes it from 0-62 Mph in 4.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 187 Mph.
Now you can drive it on track!
The Audi R8 Blast begins with an informative briefing from an experienced racing driver.
The briefing will cover the racing line, and the best way to take the corners to get the most from the car.
Following this you will drive the Audi R8 for 4/5 laps around the circuit with an instructor giving advice and encouragement.
(You will complete 4 laps at York and 5 laps at Teesside).
You will also receive a certificate on completion.
Availability :
Courses are available on selected Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays from March to the end of November.
Notes :
Gift vouchers are valid for 10 months.
Restrictions :
You must hold a full driving licence, be less than 6'4" and weigh less than 18 1/2 stone.
Why not finish your experience with a hot lap driven by a professional driver. The passenger lap will take place in the car nominated for passenger laps that day. Cars normally used include BMW M3, Lotus Elise, or Subaru Impreza Sti.
