Ariel Atom V Audi R8 driving experience.
The Audi mid-mounted, high revving V8 4.2 litre engine takes the R8 to a top speed of 187 Mph and will crack 0-62 Mph in 4.6 seconds. It has an extremely rigid but light aluminium body and 4 wheel drive ensuring that the handling is just as good.
The Ariel Atom produces 600 Bhp per tonne and will go from 0-60 Mph in just 2.7 seconds!
It is the ultimate track day car.
The experience.
Following registration there is a short briefing which explains the racing line and how to get the most out of your track time.
You will be driven around the circuit by an instructor in a saloon car to show you the racing line.
Next you drive each car for 4/5 laps around the track with guidance from a race instructor.
(4 laps at Elvington and 5 laps at Teesside)
Finally you will receive a certificate to remember your day by.
Please allow 1-2 hours at the circuit for the Ariel Atom V Ferrari experience.
Restrictions :
You must hold a full driving licence, be less than 6'4" and weigh less than 18 1/2 stone.
Availability :
Courses are available on selected Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays from March to the end of November.
Notes :
Gift vouchers are valid for 10 months.
Now you can finish your experience with a hot lap driven by a professional driver. You will be amazed at how fast you will go. The passenger lap will take place in the car nominated that day. Cars normally used include BMW M3, Lotus Elise, or Subaru.
