Subaru and Rally Thrill

In this experience you get the best of both track and rally driving.

You will drive the 4 wheel drive turbocharged Subaru Impreza Sti made famous by the late Colin McRae and a group N rally car.

What happens on the day?

After registration you will have a safety and techniques briefing which will be given by an experienced race driving instructor.

You will then head to the track with your instructor.

Your instructor will drive you around the track for 2 laps to show you the racing line.

You will then jump into the driving seat and drive 4 laps around the track in a Subaru Impreza STI.

Next its over to the rally stage where you will drive a group N rally car for 6 laps on a loose gravel, and concrete surface learning to do handbrake turns.

We will teach you how to correct understeer and oversteer, to balance the car with the throttle, how to correct the car if you loose control,  as well as mastering the art of using the handbrake around the hairpins on the tighter sections of the stage.

The Rally Cars :

-Peugeot 206 Rally Challenge cars.

-Ford Fiesta and Ford KA Rally Challenge cars.

All are fully Rally prepared competition vehicles with fitted roll cages and hydraulic handbrakes.

Availability :

Courses are available on selected Saturdays and Sundays from March to November.

Notes :

Gift vouchers are valid for 10 months.

Restrictions :

You must hold a full driving licence, be less than 6'5" and weigh less than 19 stone.

You can now add a passenger lap around the race track with a professional driver to the end of your experience.

Typical cars used for this include Subaru Impreza and Lotus Elise.
